πŸ’°VS and VRC

What is VS

The native token of Vision is VS. A brand new currency stores value of Vision permanently, securely, and transparently. Every VS holder also holds a stake in the Vision network. VS stored in a wallet can be pledged and voted to a stake pool to earn specialized-minting rewards to participate in the successful running of the network or just simply pledged as liquid asset in your wallet to receive spread-minting rewards. In time, VS will also be usable for a variety of applications and services on the Vision Ecosystem.

VRC-10

VRC-10 tokens are issued by system contract. VRC-10 is a technical token standard supported by the Vision blockchain natively without the Vision Virtual Machine (VVM). Every account is capable of issuing tokens at the expense of 1024 VS. Users can lock their tokens in separately. To issue tokens, the issuer needs to specify a token name, total capitalization, the exchange rate to VS, circulation duration, description, website, maximum photon points consumption per account, total photon points consumption, and token freeze.

We're just touching on the basics here, but if you want to get extra fancy, collections can actually be published and have their very own set of permissions! Feel free to go explore, but for now, let's have a peek at the GitBook editor.

VRC-20

VRCβ€Œ-20 is a technical standard used for smart contracts on the Vision blockchain for implementing tokens with the Vision Virtual Machine (VVM). It is fully compatible with ERCβ€Œ-20.
